We're not entirely against advertising advice. Be sure to test them. But don't leave your account unattended only to find out that ads are being automatically applied that you would never have written yourself. Regular text ads are disappearing. When you create a new ad in a search campaign you will now only see the option to create a responsive search or call ad. Call ads only appear on mobile devices Relatively limited use case I can't remember the last time I made an ad. So now the only real option is responsive search ads. Note that regular text ads will still exist and none of your ads will disappear.

You can still create regular text ads using the offline editor tool. But the option to create new text ads will soon disappear. Responsive search ads. You can enter up to ad titles and ad descriptions in a responsive search ad. Google will then try to show everyone the most efficient portfolio of assets both overall photo retouching and individually. If you are tagged as a deal hunter you will most likely see ad copy related to prices or current deals. We've recently seen responsive ads being prioritized over existing text ads. This is not always true. Google will show whatever ad makes them the most money but that's true in general terms. All other things being equal they will use the responsive ad format.



Until recently, the best practice was to have at least three text ads and one responsive search ad. We're now creating two to three responsive search ads per ad group and making sure the responsive ads use the same high-performing wording that used to be in the text ads. You can also get high performance copies from and other media. Reduce search query data. Savvy advertisers have been paying close attention to search query reports and maintaining long lists of negative keywords for years. The Search Query Report will show you the actual words people typed before clicking your ad. The data is now limited to the most important phrases. Google cited privacy as the reason behind this change which makes us think that search query data might be removed entirely.
